I forgot he existed. Sort of existed, at least.
That's basically it.
And ok, fine, I'll confess as to what reminded me. I was on youtube watching the Jedi Knight cutscenes. Then I decided to check out Massassi. Then I decided to check out the level section. Then I saw that JHS was still number one in downloads. Then I got annoyed. Which is surprising. Then I read the comments for JHS, and waaaaay down on the list, way further than I should have gotten before finding something else to do, I saw a comment by Gordon Farcus
"Ugly. Has no flow. Has no style. The fact that this level is so popular further reminds me why the Jedi Knight editing community has been largely overlooked by the rest of the FPS fraternity.
There are so many levels with less than 1000 downloads that beat out JHS in every possible way."
You go, Gordon Farcus.

You know, I remember hearing of JHS, but I'm not sure I ever played it. Maybe once.
I fired up JK a week or so ago out of nostalgia (my roommate was playing The Force Unleashed). Sadly, it doesn't seem to want to play nice with Windows 7.

I had a similar "let's see if it still exists" moment with Massassi myself about a month ago. I didn't think that that place could go downhill, but wow, it's like the internet equivalent of a vomitorium now.

I once made a lightly modified version of JHS for a friend of mine who wanted a secret sniper room in the big outside area. That was probably the only JK level editing anything I ever actually gave to somebody.

I… I am responsible for showing the author tutorials and resources for Jedi Knight. All those years ago… I am sorry.
