A bunch of us are getting this at release (~ 3 weeks). I haven't really played an MMORPG in eons but the promise of Bioware quality stories in a multiplayer setting is enough for me to give it a go.
Anyone who played the beta know what the best classes are? Non-sith that is.

I'm under the impression that there aren't really any bad classes, just bad class stories. Consular is supposed to be kinda crap, Jedi Knight is standard Bioware "savior of the universe" fare, Trooper is supposedly cool, and I don't know much about smuggler.
I probably won't get it at launch, but probably pretty soon after. Within a couple weeks.

Trooper is fucking badass.
I will most likely be maining Sith Empire, though… Bounty Hunter, Inquisitor, and Imperial Agent all seem fucking awesome, particularly the IA story, which boils down to Deus Ex meets James Bond in space, apparently. I'll eventually make some Republic people, mainly to try out Trooper and Smuggler, since I played through most of Act 1 of Smuggler and JK in the Beta… I'll be on whatever server Starfleet Dental and Marauder She Wrote are on, because Jeff's fantastical idea of having our own guild is pretty much impossible since you need at least 4 people online at the same time to make a guild. Plus I'd like to actually try the group content, and while xenophobia may have worked for Japan at one time in the past, I don't plan to do it in an MMO… most of the goons are pretty cool, so we'll see.

I'll likely start a trooper on Veela soon, currently playing a smuggler Windlass on Krath.
Took a few hours but this game has really grown on me, it definitely is the bastard child of WoW and KOTOR/Mass Effect. The stories are pretty great and it really picks up once you get your first companion. Looking forward to my ship :D

Nope. The last 4-5 days I've never had a queue, even when logging on at like 8pm on a Saturday. They apparently added a bunch of servers for the more populated servers, I'm guessing Veela was one of them. It's a grand old time.
Also, Marauder She Wrote still has lots of room in it… Starfleet Dental is totally full up, but I think I will probably go Republic on Kath to play with Jeff, anyway.
On Veela I'm in as Fuzz Katarn. Yes, I got Katarn as my Legacy name. So dorkily happy about that. I would say one of you should try to grab Jedi as a legacy name, then you can have <The Jedi Legacy> floating under your name.

So any of you jerks going to start Empire alts yet? I'm 48 on my Bounty Hunter, and already itching to start another character once I hit 50 and do some of the raids and stuff… probably a Sith Warrior or Inquisitor.
