The Arc Hammer
Custom Mobile Manufacturing and Launch Platform
When General Mohc proposed his plan for a super stormtrooper to the Emperor,
he aso proposed the construction of a huge, mobile manufacturing plant/ launching station for
these Dark Troopers. And so the Arc Hammer was born. Measuring nearly 7 kilometers in
length, the massive ship became the second most recognized symbol of the Dark Trooper campaign
beside the Troopers themselves. Looking almost like a sleek blaster, the ship
had 30 active manufacturing facilities for churning out Dark Troopers by the dozens. Along the
bottom brim trench of the ship were the launching facilities hangar bays. Officers quarters were
situated near the bridge, while other crew members were quartered in the circular administrative
hub below the bridge. The crew consisted of 375,680 factory and maintenence workers,
1,500 gunners and tractor beam operators, and 2,000 officers and supervisors. The ship was
armed with 300 turbolasers, 200 heavy turbolaser batteries, 200 concussion missile tubes, 30
proton torpedo tubes, and 300 ion cannons. Although it was heavily armed, these defenses were
merely for defensive purposes. The Arc Hammer was not a warship, instead its main
purpose was the manufacture and delivery of Dark Troopers to battle zones and Rebel bases. To
prevent coordinated attacks by the Rebel Fleet, the Arc Hammer regularly made hyperjumps
across the galaxy to randomly selected locations. Darth Vader's command ship, the Executor,
was the only ship that carried records of the Arc Hammer's jumps, and would meet up with
supply ships elsewhere to ferry them to the Arc Hammer's location.
The Arc Hammer was destroyed by the Rebel saboteur Kyle Katarn.
After stowing away on a supply freighter bound for rendevous with the Executor, Katarn used
the cargo ferry transferrs to slip onto the Arc Hammer. Once on board, Katarn placed sequencer
charges on the three main exchange couplings, damaging the power grid and setting off a chain reaction
that totally destroyed the Arc Hammer. With General Mohc killed by Katarn's hand and the
master schematics onboard destroyed, the Dark Trooper project was canceled and the Arc Hammer's
became a twistest graveyard testifying to the victory of the Rebel Alliance.
